Day 1- Session Description

Preregistration is required for the real estate licensure classes on Day 1 at APARTogether Expo. This includes purchasing the PAA Real Estate program through the PAA website prior to APARTogether EXPO Day 1.  Launch your real estate career with industry professionals and get hours completed toward your real estate license.  Classes will be held via a TEAMS call, with a link sent out prior to the event via email will be sent to each student with additional information. Provided by PAA and in collaboration with our third-party partner, The CE Shop. PAA now offers a full continuum of the most sophisticated on-the-go tools that make obtaining and maintaining your Pennsylvania Real Estate license as convenient and straightforward as possible. From pre-licensing classes, comprehensive exam prep, post-licensing for renewal opportunities and a variety of options for continuing education to assist in retaining your license while strengthening your education. The PAA Education team is focused on your goal to personalize professional development and growth, and our partnership with The CE Shop will ensure this process is convenient, reliable, and professional.

While serving in the Air Force, Bill graduated from the Air Force Leadership Academy and that was the catalyst for his career as a successful leader in the military and private sector.  After successfully running two multi-family organizations, Bill launched his career as a speaker, trainer and author.  He hosts a podcast that can be found on I-Tunes, Spotify and YouTube called “Leading your Culture with Bill Nye." He is also a frequent guest on numerous podcasts and radio broadcasts where he talks about leadership, team building and company culture. As a speaker, he has appeared at events in 48 states and has inspired and entertained thousands of people.

Ishea Shepherd is a national speaker who inspires audiences with her expertise in leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and professional development. She serves on the National Apartment Association Board of Directors representing Region 1, is Chair of the RPM Careers Committee, and contributes to two national committees, where she drives initiatives that shape the multifamily housing industry.
A member of the NAAEI Faculty, Ishea facilitates CALP, CAM, and CAMT courses, sharing her passion for education and empowering leaders to excel. She is a co-chair of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association's Eastern Regional Advisory Council, co-chair of the DE&I Committee, and a member of the Education Committee.
As Assistant Vice President at AMC Delancey Group, Ishea oversees 55+ scattered-site residential and commercial properties, ensuring excellence in leasing, maintenance, and capital improvements. She is a licensed realtor in Pennsylvania, holds a CAM certification, and is a 2021 graduate of the NAA Diversity Leadership Program.
With a background in construction, hospitality, and real estate, Ishea is known for building diverse, high-performing teams. Her commitment to authenticity in leadership and creating inclusive environments drives her mission to inspire individuals and organizations to thrive.
