Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) SP2025- Pittsburgh

DESCRIPTION:

The CAM Certified Apartment Manager course will help you earn your CAM credential allowing you to demonstrate that you have the knowledge and ability to manage an apartment community and achieve the owner’s investment goals. The CAM credential positions you well for career opportunities and advancement. This program is recommended for community managers and experienced assistant managers and others in property management who are interested in advancing their career by earning a nationally recognized certificate.

INSTRUCTOR: Monica Frazier

Monica Frazier, hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, serves as the General Manager at Midwood Investment & Development, bringing over a decade of experience in residential and commercial management across multiple states. As the founder of Melanin In Multifamily, she fosters a sense of community and empowers Black professionals in the multifamily sector. Monica's dedication to the industry is further demonstrated through her active involvement in the National Apartment Association. Recognized as a 3 time NAA Excellence Award nominee, as well as graduate of the NAA 2023 Leadership Lyceum Class, Monica also leads the charge as a committee chair for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of her state apartment association. Her outstanding contributions were celebrated with the PAA's 2023 Property Manager of the Year Award and winner of the NAA IDEI Grant in 2023. Monica's expertise lies in training, employee development, and operational excellence.

INSTRUCTOR: Alex Campbell

As a former collegiate athlete, Alex is determined to leverage his athletic experiences in the multi-family industry.

Entering his 4th year in the industry, Alex is a NAAEI faculty member and a member of the Apartment Association of Kansas City (AAKC). As the Divisional Vice President of Growth at Apartment Life, he leverages his experiences to create a dynamic culture with his team.

Alex has over a decade of experience as a professional speaker and has worked with

NFL Hall of Fame Coach Tony Dungy and three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Jackie Joyner-Kersee. He is a presenter and instructor with the 3D Institute for Business, education, and Sport. He's also partners with LeadersCast, NAIA, NCAA, and the NFL.

PROGRAM PRE-REQUISITE:

To obtain the CAM credential, candidates must complete the following:

• Minimum of 12 months of onsite property management experience
• Successful completion of all CAM coursework
• Pass the exam within six (6) months of declaring candidacy
